Job/Person Summary
We are seeking to employ an inspirational tutoring teacher/learning mentor to join our Year 6 team. We are a school that has strong relationships with our pupils, a bespoke designed curriculum and a track record of securing high standards and excellent rates of progress for all our children. We are at an exciting time in the school’s development, creating a school which offers pupils an “irresisitible” curriculum which is bespoke for our community, including P4C, Forest Schools, Thrive, 6 Strands Learning behaviours curriculum and the nationally renowned MITA project.
Our bespoke CPD programme, draws on outstanding providers and is based on current research, which forms a key success of provision at Alver Valley, including nationally recognised and County-funded projects.
Alver Valley is committed to and has a track record of outstanding practitioners who work and rally together to produce amazing results. In 2022, our Year 6 pupils achieved combined results which were 10% above the national standards. Our 2023 results were also impressive.
We are looking for a skilled teacher who has energy, drive and commitment to share in realising these goals and aspires to provide a bespoke tutoring and learning mentor package for our current Year 6 pupils, making a difference to their lives.
